Fox

I have observed that among a group of fox pups there always seems to be one that is bolder than the others. As I was watching a group this one began walking towards me. I focused my lens on him as he approached thinking of a great portrait possibility. He suddenly put his head down and picked up this feather He held it for less than a second or two but it was long enough for me to get three shots off. This one was published in the November 2007 issue of Outdoor Photographer magazine. The image was captured on May 5, 2007 in Canterbury, CT.
