Old Quebec City
JF #475
This view of Old Quebec City was photographed from the Citadel and consists of 72 images acquired using a Gigapan Pro and the Canon 1DMark3 and the Canon 24-105mm L lens at 105mm. Exposure was 100 ISO at 1/200th f/10.0. The images were taken during a visit to the city on August 11th, 2013. The iconic structure in the background is the Frontenac which overlooks the St. Lawrence. A wonderful boardwalk of this walled city runs parallel to the river and is a gathering place throughout the day for street performers, walkers, tourists and lovers. Al fresco dining is a favorite along the cobblestone streets of the old city. The changing of the guard ceremony in the Citadel is not to be missed as is a sunset cruise on the St Lawrence.
